Intorduction: All the characters are introduced.
Narrator- The scene starts with Ringo depressed. He is unhappy because people pick on him for having a big nose, for being the oldest, and for being short.
Ringo- (slowly walks out onto the stage from the right) "Why do people have to always pic on me? Just cause I'm a little fella. I feel like an old splintered drum stick." (Stops at center of the stage)
George- (comes out from the left side) "There you are Ringo! We've been looking all over for you."
Paul- (comes from the left with John. With a concerned voice) "Ringo, what's wrong? You're not sulkn' again, are you?"
Ringo- "Hello fellas. I'm just feeln' down cause everyone is always picking on me." (sighs)
John- Whats wrong lads?
George- "Ringo is feeln' like an old splintered drum stick again."
John- "Well, he is the middle aged boy wonder, isn't he?"
Paul- (laughs)
Ringo- "Oh lay off fellas."
George- "Yea, it's not his fault he was born before all of us making him the oldest. Poor little fella..."
Ringo- (makes an annoyed sound) "You had to point out my height."
John- "Don't worry about it son."
Paul- "Yeah. There were many akward people like you in history. When I was back in school, my teacher made me read this book called "The Hunch Back Of Notre Dame" A very good example of how you feel."
Ringo- "Well, I wouldn't know. I never read it."
John- "But you read more then any of us! Why not?"
Ringo- "I like science fiction books." | |
